Espaktiv Kids

every 5 ml contains:

• Simethicone USP 40 mg.
• In flavored, non-crystallized sorbitol.
• Dye: quinoline yellow WS.

• intestinal colic in newborns and infants;
• aerophagia;
• functional dyspepsia;
• digestive disorders, dyspepsia, heartburn, flatulence and constipation in pregnant women;
• flatulence in the postoperative period;
• preparation for diagnostic studies of the abdominal and pelvic organs (ultrasound, radiography, etc.), incl. as an additive to suspensions of contrast agents for obtaining images using the double contrast method;
• as an antifoam agent for acute poisoning with detergents.

Infants and children under 6 years of age are prescribed the drug in a single dose of 40 mg (1 teaspoon). The frequency of administration is 3-5 times a day.

Children aged 6 to 14 years – 40-80 mg (1-2 teaspoons).

For flatulence, adults are prescribed a single dose of 80 mg (2 teaspoons).

To prepare for radiography and ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs, 80 mg (2 teaspoons) is prescribed 3 times a day the day before the examination and 80 mg (2 teaspoons) in the morning on the day of the examination.

To obtain a double contrast image, add 20-40 ml of emulsion per 1 liter of contrast suspension. In case of poisoning with detergents, adults are prescribed 50-100 ml, children 10-50 ml, depending on the severity of the poisoning.

Espaktiv Kids should be taken with or after meals, and if necessary also before bed.
