Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride USP eq. ciprofloxacin 0.3% w/v

Dexamethasone sodium phosphate USP eq. dexamethasone phosphate 0.1% w/v

Benzalkonium Chloride Solution USP 0.02% v/v

(as a preservative)

Sterile aqueous base q.s.

For eye and ear infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to ciprofloxacin.

In ophthalmology for adults and children over one year of age:

  • Corneal ulcer: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Serratia marcescens, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus (Viridens group)
  • Conjunctivitis: Haemophilus influenzae, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae. Conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis without damage to the epithelium, iritis, iridocyclitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, blepharitis, episcleritis, scleritis, inflammatory process after eye injuries and surgical interventions
  • In otorhinolaryngology in adults and children over six months: acute otitis media, otorrhea (after tympanostomy shunting) caused by the following microorganisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Acute external otitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa

In ophthalmology in adults and children over one year of age:

For infectious and inflammatory diseases of the eye and its appendages, instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac every 4-6 hours. The first 24-48 hours of instillation can be done every 2 hours.

The course of treatment for acute bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis – from 5 to 14 days, for keratitis – 2-4 weeks, for the prevention of inflammatory diseases after surgical interventions with perforation of the eyeball – from 5 days to 1 month. If the drug is used for more than 10 days, the patient’s intraocular pressure should be monitored. In otorhinolaryngology in adults and children over 6 months: For infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ear, instill 4 drops into the external auditory canal of the affected ear 2 times a day for 7 days. You should not change your head position for 60 seconds to achieve complete

penetration of the drug into the ear canal.

After opening, use the contents of the bottle within a month.
