It has surface-active properties, exhibiting the ability of an antifoam: reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles (foaming activity) in the digestive tract, leading to their rupture; The gases released during the disintegration of bubbles are absorbed by the intestinal walls or eliminated due to peristalsis, reducing the gas content in the intestines.

Manual

Each hard gelatin capsule contains:

  • Activated carbon BP 250 mg;
  • Simethicone USP 80 mg.
  • symptoms of flatulence: bloating, a feeling of fullness and fullness in the epigastric region, increased gas formation (including in the postoperative period);
  • aerophagia;
  • dyspepsia;
  • Ramheld syndrome;
  • preparation for diagnostic examinations of the abdominal and pelvic organs (ultrasound, radiography, etc.), incl. as an additive to suspensions of contrast agents for obtaining images
  • using the double contrast method;
  • poisoning with tensides (including surfactants included in detergents) as an antifoam agent.

Adults and children over 6 years of age are prescribed 2 capsules – 2-3 times a day. Capsules are taken orally (with a small amount of liquid) after meals and before bedtime. To prepare for the examination, 2 capsules are prescribed – 3 times a day the day before the examination and 2 capsules in the morning on the day of the examination.
