Mikonet is an antifungal antibiotic from the polyene group.

Prevention and treatment of candidiasis of the oral mucosa:
Newborns and children under 1 year: prescribed 2 ml (200,000 IU) 4 times a day after feeding. 1 ml of the drug is applied to one side of the mouth, the remaining 1 ml is applied to the other side using a measuring pipette.
Premature or weakened children are prescribed 1 ml (100,000 IU) 4 times a day after feeding. 0.5 ml on each side of the mouth.
Children from 1 year to 6 years – 4 ml (400,000 IU) 4 times a day after feeding. 2 ml on each side of the mouth.
Children over 6 years of age and adults: – 6 ml (600,000 IU) 4 times a day between meals. 3 ml on each side of the mouth.
Treatment with the drug should be continued for 48 hours after the symptoms of oral candidiasis disappear and normal tests are obtained.
The suspension should be kept in the mouth for some time without swallowing.
Treatment of intestinal infections of the gastrointestinal tract caused by nystatin-sensitive yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida:
Adults are prescribed 500,000 IU 3-4 times a day. The daily dose is 1,500,000–3,000,000 IU, in severe cases – up to 4,000,000–6,000,000 IU.
Children over 13 years old – 500,000 IU per day 3-4 times a day.
Children from 1 month to 13 years: 100,000 IU 4 times a day.
Duration of treatment is 10–14 days.
